Debbie Hunt
Debbie Hunt was born and raised in Victoria, BC. Debbie comes from a proud and talented artistic family. Her grandfather was the late Henry Hunt, and her father is hereditary Chief and master carver Tony Hunt. Debbie is very proud of her kwakiutl history and artistry, and she regards her culture as the strength to maintaining and preserving traditional songs and dances. In 1999, Debbie decided to pursue her dream of becoming an artist, she did hand sew button blanket and print. In 2002 she started her journey to be a native jeweller.

Wasco
Wasco is a sea wolf which appears on Haida legend and has both elements of Whale and Wolf. Wolves who were hunting Whales in the ocean were caught in fog and could not find their way back to shore. They decided to remain at sea, and became Wascos.
