Garner Moody
Born to the Raven Clan of Haida. Garner Moody began carving at the age of 15. Apprenticed to Bill Reid he acquired design and painting skills and was later asked to work with the master of the Canoe project. As one the new generation of artists, Garner Moody continues to express Haida traditions to produce poles, masks and argillite carvings, and a great variety of gold and silver. The beautiful design and detailed craftsmanship of his art piece is the true expression of Haida art.
